List Perfectly Not Working Right

Try these basic troubleshooting steps to optimize your setup when List Perfectly feels like it is not working right.

Turn off other installed extensions:

  • There can be conflicts between installed extensions. (Some well known conflicts include AdBlock, Rakuten, Keywords)
  • Click the 3 dots in the top right of chrome > more tools > extensions. Turn off other extensions that are installed.
     

Clear cache and cookies:

  • Clearing your cache and cookies is good practice to help optimize your browser.
  • Select the 3 dots in the top right > more tools > clear browsing data. Confirm to clear cache and cookies for all time (this process will log you out sites you are currently logged into).
  • Restart your computer for best results.

Restart your computer: 

  • Restarting your computer will assist in optimizing your setup to make sure things are running smoothly.
  • See your specific device for restart instructions.

Restart your home internet router:

  • Unplug your router > wait 1 minute > plug router back in > wait for the reboot to complete
  • Restarting your router can be very helpful when experiencing issues of speed or problems with photos or cross posting taking a very long time.

 


Check your internet speed: 

  • If information is not crossposting, photos are not copying, processes feel slower than normal, etc; check your internet speed to confirm it is running at the highest possible speed. 
  • Visit here to run a speed test. Simply click the “Go” button to run the speed test and view your results. 

Turn off Chrome’s new extension toolbar menu

  • A recent change on Google Chrome may have you placed in a view with the extension toolbar menu feature enabled. This may hide the LP extension and require you to “pin” it.
  • When updates are made by LP or a new version has been installed you may be required to pin the LP extension again. Follow these steps to disable the toolbar menu. 
  • Visit chrome://flags/ , search “extensions toolbar menu” in the search box, select “disabled” from the dropdown menu. 

Missing Photos When Crossposting To List Perfectly

Problem: Not all of your photos are crossposting to your LP catalog listing.  

  • When you are crossposting to your LP catalog and you notice all of your images are not loading and saving please follow step below.

Resolution: Turn off auto save

    • Select the List Perfectly extension icon logo and choose the settings “gear”. 
    • Turn on the option to not automatically save your listings when importing to LP.
    • Turning this option on will allow for the crosspost to complete without timing out.

Not Seeing the Copy or Proceed Button

Problem: Not seeing the “copy” or “proceed” button 

  • If you cannot locate the “copy” or “proceed” button, or specific marketplaces when crossposting follow the step below to resolve. 

Resolution: Reduce your zoom setting

  • Select the three dots at the top right of your chrome window. 
  • Reduce your zoom setting to 100%

Missing Crossposting Buttons on Marketplace

Problem:

  • Missing  cross posting buttons on active listings
  • Active listings page looks different than screenshots and demo videos

Resolution: 


Crossposting Buttons Say “Login to LP”

Problem: 

  • Crossposting buttons say “Login to LP” on active listings

Resolution: 

  • Receiving this message means you are not currently logged into the List Perfectly extension software. 
  • Log out of your List Perfectly account and log back in to activate the software extension.

Missing a Feature or Marketplace

Problem: 

  • Missing a marketplace that is integrated with List Perfectly 
  • Not able to use a feature of List Perfectly 

Resolution: 

  • Confirm you have the desired version of List Perfectly installed. 
  • Right click the extension icon, and choose “manage extensions” to check your current version. 
  • Visit the “Software Versions & Beta” page by selecting “Help & News” > “Software Versions & Beta” to view all of the available versions of List Perfectly . 
  • Install the latest version of List Perfectly to have access to all of the latest features and marketplaces 
  • Note: Before installing any new version, completely remove existing versions of List Perfectly by right clicking the extension icon and choose “remove from chrome”. Having multiple versions of List Perfectly installed will cause technical problems.

Marketplace Status and Item Number Issues

Typically when experiencing issues with item number collection or the marketplace status updating on your view catalog screen

Unable to import listing(s) from eBay to List Perfectly

eBay is currently experiencing some technical issues on their end that is preventing certain listings from being able to be edited which is causing an interruption when attempting to import listings from eBay to List Perfectly.

We will continue to monitor this to see when all functionality has been restored on eBay's end.

Unable to Take Photo Using LP mobile

Users are unable to select "Take a photo" on mobile devices.

This is at times due to an update from a specific browser and can limit the access a user has to their camera in a particular browser. As a workaround, please try downloading a different browser and attempting to take photos there.

Crossposting To Instagram Interrupted

Users are experiencing an interruption when crossposting to Instagram as they are being directed to their Instagram News Feed.

When crossposting, users will see that their News Feed appears along with two options in the left corner reading: Post or Live Video. If "Post" is selected, the crosspost will proceed.

Our development team is aware of this and are working diligently on a fix for this issue. They will provide an update as soon as possible.

Link status not updating when listing is marked SOLD

When using the LINK feature to connect a listing to your LP catalog, if the listing already has a "SOLD" status, the "LINK" status will not display as "copied." The listing is, however, correctly linked, even though the "LINK" status is not being removed.

Image issue when crossposting to Depop

When crossposting a listing to Depop, there is an issue with images disappearing after the listing is published.

 

It appears that Depop is currently experiencing a technical issue on their end. As a test, can you please attempt to create a listing on Depop (without using LP) with the same listing details and images as well as from the same device you use to crosspost your listings, to see if you are able to publish your listing without your images disappearing.

Importing from eBay and receiving an error message for description exceeding 5000 characters.

If you are receiving this error message while importing from eBay to your List Perfectly catalog, please review your listing prior to saving to remove any extra spaces or characters.

If you are using a third party to create templates on eBay it is possible that these templates are adding extra spaces, characters, etc.

To prevent the auto-save during the import so you can review the listing and prevent the error, turn off auto-save by choosing the LP extension icon on your browser →  Choose "Settings" →  and deselect "Do not automatically save"

Unable to crosspost to Depop

Select accounts on Depop are having difficulties creating new listings with or without List Perfectly. If you are unable to crosspost to Depop, please try creating a new listing on your computer by visiting https://www.depop.com/products/create/ .

If you are redirected to the selling hub on Depop, your account may be affected and unable to create new listings at this time. We are closely monitoring this and will provide any updates we can.

Incorrect details copying to marketplaces. 


Customers are claiming incorrect details are copying to the marketplace listing like title and brand. There is a situation that has come to our attention where  users have FLYP installed and it is causing an unexpected behavior during the crosspost where the conflict completes actions like choosing categories on behalf of the user. When this occurs incorrect details are added to the marketplace listing after LP has already set the details during the first part of the crosspost.

1. We recommend disabling any other extension by:

  • Clicking the puzzle icon at the top right of Chrome →  choose “manage extensions”
  • Select the toggle icon to disable any other extension.

2. Once completed clear your cache and cookies by selecting the 3 dots at the top right > choose more tools > clear browsing data > clear cache and cookies for all time. You can then login to LP and the marketplaces and re-attempt the crosspost.

Crossposting to eBay is Slower than Expected

We are investigating an issue when crossposting to eBay it is currently copying over slower than expected.

 

The current workaround is to temporarily switch to the Classic Listing Tool on eBay. You can switch to the Classic Listing Tool by following these steps:

  • Edit an active listing with eBay
  • Click the 3 vertical dots in the top right corner of the eBay page
  • Select “Switch to the Classic Listing Tool”
  • Publish your revised listing
  • Reattempt your crosspost

      Yesterday, 4/24 we increased our catalog limits so you can now store even more products in your catalog for less cost.

      We encourage you to review your current subscription now and upgrade or downgrade according to your business needs.  Also keep in mind that List Perfectly doesn’t count products marked as Sold against your limit. Instructions for how to update your subscription be found here.

      New beta released with lots of marketplace fixes, as well as a brand new feature that allows faster cross posting and marking listings as Sold directly from LP view my listings page, see screenshots below. You can get the beta by clicking here or by clicking “Help & News” in the top menu, then select “Software versions & Beta.”

      If you are a Business or Pro subscriber, you’ll now have check boxes where you have access to bulk features.  You can check the box and buttons will appear if you’d like to either mark your listings as Sold, or bulk cross post to marketplaces. Here’s what it looks like now, even more features will be coming soon:

       

      If you are a Simple Subscriber, you will now see cross posting buttons that are consistent with how they are on marketplaces as well:

       

      In addition, we’ve also removed the double button display on marketplaces and replaced with a single button. If your listing has already been copied to LP, it will also show Copied in the status.

       

       

       


      If you are having issues cross posting from List Perfectly site, please update your LP chrome extension to the current version.  Click here for the link and full instructions

      List Perfectly is continually updating and improving our site and also to match the changes of all marketplaces. Due to this, as time goes on older versions will either partially or completely no longer work.  Please check the Software Versions & Beta page at least once a month if you’d like to install the latest versions.

       


      We recently updated our product catalog limits for all basic plans, so you get more for the same price.

      Also, all listings marked as Sold in List Perfectly also will no longer count against your total.  We will be building more features so you can better track your inventory that’s been marked as sold, but we couldn’t wait because we wanted get this much needed update to you as quickly as possible!
