Hi Everyone,

We’ve been closely monitoring the LP site over the past several hours and everything looks good. About an hour ago an issue was fixed and we are also monitoring. This issue related to having special characters like emojis in listing text, but as mentioned should be fixed.

Upgrades have been made, and we’ve rebuilt necessary code to keep everything working well. We will continue to monitor and fix anything necessary if the situation arises.

We take great pride in ensuring whatever we can control is stable as a rock. When things don’t go according to plan, we want to make sure you feel appreciated and valued as a customer. To this end, we’re giving everyone access to the PhotoRoom background remover for free, no matter what plan you have, through the end of May.

Simple plan will have 100 background removals, Business 300, and Pro plan will be increased to 2000 from now until May 31st, 11:59 PM PST. This is live now, look for it in your photo editing tools.

* New Feature Released *
We also have a new feature released to everyone we’d love for you to try – Default Templates.
The default template feature will allow you to set which template LP will default to each time you create a new listing in your List Perfectly Catalog.

Listing a bunch of jeans, click your jeans template as the default and this template will automatically pop up with each new listing, allowing you to create each listing with fewer clicks. Done with jeans and want to move on to sneakers, make your sneaker template the default and continue listing.

Templates are useful for all that information you need to include in each listing, brand, color, zip code, COGS if averaging a bulk purchase, etc., no matter what you’re listing.

*New Feature* – “Next Photo” Option

The LP Team is excited to release a new feature to the image manager tool. With the new “next photo” option you can now take photos directly into LP at a quicker pace and avoid any need to reselect options on your mobile device to “take photo”.

Browser Optimization: Setting Up Your Work Environment

Browsers are powerful tools that we all use in our day to day life for work and play. Extensions offer an even more customized experience and setup. While extensions are great and totally necessary, there are times that there can be conflicts between extensions and programs that can result in an unexpected behavior.

If you are noticing unexpected results or want to setup your environment better, below are some setup tips to accomplish that. (You do NOT have to uninstall anything)

 

  1. Temporarily disable any other extension you have installed. With this step, we recommend temporarily disabling any other extensions and reattempt your crosspost/import to ensure that a conflict with other extensions was not causing the issue.

    1. Click the 3 dots at the top right of Chrome / Edge →  Choose “more tools” →  Extensions
    2. Click the toggle to turn off any other installed extension
    3. Clear your cache and cookies by selecting the 3 dots at the top right → choose more tools → clear browsing data → clear cache and cookies for all time. Please note this will log you out of all sites. Once done resume crossposting and utilizing LP.
  2. Create multiple Google Chrome profiles .Creating different Chrome profiles lets you switch between one account and your other Google accounts, without signing out each time. This will ensure that the extensions you are using on your main profile, will not conflict with the extensions you have your newly created Google Chrome profile. Please note for this to work successfully, turn off any “Sync” setting between the profiles to avoid sharing extensions and settings across multiple profiles.


  3. Add the LP extension to Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome (whichever browser you are not currently working on). For example, if you normally use Google Chrome, please add the LP extension to Microsoft Edge. LP can be installed on Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge and will work exactly the same. We suggest using a browser exclusive to use for business, use LP, access marketplaces, etc and use another for recreation or other tasks needed for your business.
