Inventory Migration: Tradesy → Vestiaire

While Tradesy’s official closing is not until the end of 2022, you can no longer publish new listings there. You may have noticed or already completed the option to simply migrate your Tradesy closet to a new Vestiaire Collective closet. If you have already completed the switch, planning on doing it soon or waiting until it is completed automatically  – please review below.

Listing Perfectly offers an inventory management migration to update your LP listing statuses with the new Vestiaire status and new item number.

Once selected List Perfectly will check your saved Tradesy listings in your catalog and check to see if a match is found on Vestiaire. Once a match is found the new Vestiaire item number and status will be saved to the List Perfectly listing, and the original Tradesy status will be removed. If no match is found, nothing will be changed on your List Perfectly listing.

Complete this step only once you have transferred your listings from Tradesy to Vestiaire. 

Version Update: Current 0.14.22.57

A new version, 0.14.22.57, has been released to the Current version of List Perfectly. If you have the Current version installed now, your version may automatically update.

  • Mercari – Fix for the status not updating in LP catalog when ending a listing on Mercari from LP.
  • eBay – Update for spacing issue in description when creating listings on mobile with eBay’s app.
  • eBay – Crossposting icons added back to “unsold” listings.
  • Mercari – Update and optimization for confirmation messages being shown once listings are published on Mercari from LP.
  • Shopify – Update to restore item number gathering and confirmation messages once listings are published to Shopify from LP.
  • Poshmark – Fix for listing delete issue when experiencing slower internet speeds.
  • “Word Alert” Update – With the extension setting enabled possible prohibited words will be detected in your description and title now too.
  • eBay – Update for issue where attempting to copy listings with offers from the new listing tool was interrupted.
  • eBay – Update for sizes copying to new listing tool.

With recent updates to List Perfectly we strongly recommend completely clearing your cache for all time when adding a new version.

12/29 Updates & New Release

The LP Team is excited to release some new updates and new releases. Please see below for the update affecting ALL members and the new release for Business and Pro Plan members.

For optimal performance, clear your cache after these updates. 

  • Google Chrome – Select the 3 dots at the top right →  choose more tools →  clear browsing data → clear “Cached images and files” only for all time.
  • Microsoft Edge – Select the 3 dots at the top right →  choose History → choose the 3 dots →    clear browsing data →  clear “Cached images and files” only for all time.

 

Platform status column update: 

The platform status column in your LP catalog displays where listings are currently active. After today’s update, you may notice that some platforms are in black text while others are blue hyperlinks.

  • Black text = Platform has been selected in your LP Listing “inventory and sales” section, but no ID is saved to the correlating ID field.
  • Blue hyperlink = Platform has been selected in your LP Listing “inventory and sales” section, and an ID is saved to the correlating ID field.

 

 

*New Release* Add custom marketplaces for inventory management (Business and Pro Plan only)

Now once listings have been saved to your LP catalog you can then add custom marketplaces to use for inventory management. Add custom marketplaces, websites or even local selling options like consignment shops that are not currently supported by LP for inventory tracking purposes. Once a marketplace addition has been added you can then link to the listing by copying the full URL to the item ID field.

Custom marketplace additions will be added to your platform status column and will have a special “star” symbol to denote the custom addition. Please note that LP’s inventory management features like “End listing” and “mark SOLD” cannot be used on custom marketplace additions.

  • Poshmark – Update for size field not copying and preventing title and description from copying.
  • Poshmark – Update to review new listing page on Poshmark once listing has published after crossposting.
  • Poshmark – Update to ending or marking sold process on Poshmark. Now once process has finished you can expect an error page to display on Poshmark as the linked listing has been ended.
  • Tradesy – Updates for ending linked active listings on Tradesy from LP
  • *NEW* Simple Plan users now have access to “Modify Images” extension setting to assist in modifying images that are not in a square ratio during the crosspost.
  • *NEW* Extension Messaging – New extensions messaging is included in this beta version for Poshmark ONLY at this time. You will notice success and potentially unsuccessful  messages if the status was unable to update when copying from your LP catalog or when ending / mark SOLD. Watch demo video.
    • Please note that if you are copying to Poshmark and find that your display remains on the Poshmark “Feed” page after publishing your listing, the status may not have been able to successfully update. We are investigating this and will provide an update ASAP.

 

Known issues:

  • Depop – During the crosspost size is removed if “Sub-category” is selected on Depop listing form.
  • eBay – Description not copying from eBay NEW listing tool. Recommended to use classic listing tool when copying from eBay.
  • Facebook – Copying to / from FB weights and color are not copying if your specific listing form has access to those fields.
  • Poshmark – Inconsistent item number collection when crossposting in bulk from LP on Chrome. Recommended to attempt crosspost from Edge or in smaller batches to Poshmark. If you are copying to Poshmark and find that your display remains on the Poshmark “Feed” page after publishing your listing, the status may not have been able to successfully update. We are investigating this and will provide an update ASAP.
