List Perfectly Not Working Right

Try these basic troubleshooting steps to optimize your setup when List Perfectly feels like it is not working right.

Turn off other installed extensions:

  • There can be conflicts between installed extensions. (Some well known conflicts include AdBlock, Rakuten, Keywords)
  • Click the 3 dots in the top right of chrome > more tools > extensions. Turn off other extensions that are installed.
     

Clear cache and cookies:

  • Clearing your cache and cookies is good practice to help optimize your browser.
  • Select the 3 dots in the top right > more tools > clear browsing data. Confirm to clear cache and cookies for all time (this process will log you out sites you are currently logged into).
  • Restart your computer for best results.

Restart your computer: 

  • Restarting your computer will assist in optimizing your setup to make sure things are running smoothly.
  • See your specific device for restart instructions.

Restart your home internet router:

  • Unplug your router > wait 1 minute > plug router back in > wait for the reboot to complete
  • Restarting your router can be very helpful when experiencing issues of speed or problems with photos or cross posting taking a very long time.

 


Check your internet speed: 

  • If information is not crossposting, photos are not copying, processes feel slower than normal, etc; check your internet speed to confirm it is running at the highest possible speed. 
  • Visit here to run a speed test. Simply click the “Go” button to run the speed test and view your results. 

Turn off Chrome’s new extension toolbar menu

  • A recent change on Google Chrome may have you placed in a view with the extension toolbar menu feature enabled. This may hide the LP extension and require you to “pin” it.
  • When updates are made by LP or a new version has been installed you may be required to pin the LP extension again. Follow these steps to disable the toolbar menu. 
  • Visit chrome://flags/ , search “extensions toolbar menu” in the search box, select “disabled” from the dropdown menu. 

Missing Photos When Crossposting To List Perfectly

Problem: Not all of your photos are crossposting to your LP catalog listing.  

  • When you are crossposting to your LP catalog and you notice all of your images are not loading and saving please follow step below.

Resolution: Turn off auto save

    • Select the List Perfectly extension icon logo and choose the settings “gear”. 
    • Turn on the option to not automatically save your listings when importing to LP.
    • Turning this option on will allow for the crosspost to complete without timing out.

Not Seeing the Copy or Proceed Button

Problem: Not seeing the “copy” or “proceed” button 

  • If you cannot locate the “copy” or “proceed” button, or specific marketplaces when crossposting follow the step below to resolve. 

Resolution: Reduce your zoom setting

  • Select the three dots at the top right of your chrome window. 
  • Reduce your zoom setting to 100%

Missing Crossposting Buttons on Marketplace

Problem:

  • Missing  cross posting buttons on active listings
  • Active listings page looks different than screenshots and demo videos

Crossposting Buttons Say “Login to LP”

Problem: 

  • Crossposting buttons say “Login to LP” on active listings

Resolution: 

  • Receiving this message means you are not currently logged into the List Perfectly extension software. 
  • Log out of your List Perfectly account and log back in to activate the software extension.

Missing a Feature or Marketplace

Problem: 

  • Missing a marketplace that is integrated with List Perfectly 
  • Not able to use a feature of List Perfectly 

Resolution: 

  • Confirm you have the desired version of List Perfectly installed. 
  • Right click the extension icon, and choose “manage extensions” to check your current version. 
  • Visit the “Software Versions & Beta” page by selecting “Help & News” > “Software Versions & Beta” to view all of the available versions of List Perfectly . 
  • Install the latest version of List Perfectly to have access to all of the latest features and marketplaces 
  • Note: Before installing any new version, completely remove existing versions of List Perfectly by right clicking the extension icon and choose “remove from chrome”. Having multiple versions of List Perfectly installed will cause technical problems.

Marketplace Status and Item Number Issues

Typically when experiencing issues with item number collection or the marketplace status updating on your view catalog screen

it is due to an interruption to the software. Try these steps below to resolve the issue.
