You can unlock Mercari Local as an option by using Mercari shipping labels for every listing rather than Ship on your own. As long as the item can fit in the back of a Prius and is under 50lbs, it qualifies. Selecting ship on your own may be costing you money and sales. By increasing your prices to ship on your own, you may be at a higher price point than other sellers of the same item, and will pay 10% fees on the entire sale and have no control over the final shipping costs. Mercari Local is a 1 to 1 transfer. Meaning, when the driver picks up the item they will immediately deliver to the buyer. As the seller, you have control over setting up the pickup times. Full Program details: Mercari Local Cashback Promotion Terms As part of the Mercari Local Cashback promotion, Mercari will provide 5% cashback on program participants’ sold items that are delivered using Mercari Local. For clarity, the 5% cashback shall only apply to the sold price of items delivered using Mercari Local. Furthermore, the listings must be created during the program duration. For example: an item that sells for $100 and is delivered using Mercari Local will be credited with $5 cashback. The cost of Mercari Local delivery will not be included in the total amount eligible for cashback. The cashback promotion is valid on items created and sold between your accepted participation start date (when you received notification in your LP account) and 11:59 p.m. December 31st, 2022. Listing Limits If you are new to Mercari, you'll be limited to list 100 items, and of those you'll be limited to 30 per day. If you've reached this limit you'll need to make at least one sale or purchase on Mercari to be eligible for additional listings.If you're not new to Mercari but your accout has been limited, this may be due to a listing being flagged as inappropriate. Pricing Limits If your pricing level is too low for the item you're listing, you may be able to raise your pricing limits by becoming Authenticated with Mercari.
